Rolled 100 Miles For The Week

According to the speedometer on my bike I'm rolled 100 miles this week. I've been averaging 50 to 60 miles a week for the start of the year. To some that may not seem like much but I've only been back on the bike for 9ish months after 16 years off. Starting with a mile or so a day, moving up to 5 mile trips, to 11 mile tours of town and now doing 3 day/40 miles trips around Paducah and crashing with friends and family. Its been a good way to exercise and force myself to socialize when I get tired. Occasionally I'll have a track day and go to 100 laps/25 miles or more in one crack but its a rarity. But long story short I'm not paying $125/month for car insurance, I've lost 4" off my waist, and I'm not buying $3/gal gas. I'm stronger, healthier and better than you. Just kidding about that last part.

  2. Not yet. I've been looking into it though. Most of what I do is commuting to jobs and to the grocery.
